Freetown Firefighters were honored to welcome several special guests at last evening’s department drill.
Senator Michael Rodrigues and Town Administrator Deborah Pettey visited to thank our firefighters for their service and to view some of the department’s new turnout gear. Thanks to Senator Rodrigues’ efforts, the Freetown Fire Department received $65,000 in funding, which enabled the purchase of 15 new sets of turnout gear—critical equipment that helps keep our firefighters safe on the job.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Senator Rodrigues and Administrator Pettey for their continued support, dedication to our department, and hard work in making this important project a reality.
