IMPORTANT NOTICE
Eversource Gas will be performing necessary repairs in the area of 101 South Main Street in Assonet, MA, which will require the closure of the northbound travel lane in this area. This closure is expected to last well into the overnight hours.
NORTHBOUND LANES ON SOUTH MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED
All vehicles traveling north (from the Fall River line towards Assonet Village) will be detoured EAST on Copicut Road, then NORTH on High Street to the intersection of South Main Street near St. Bernard’s Church.
We will be working with Eversource and the Freetown Highway Department to post detour signs.
SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC (from Assonet Village towards the Fall River line) will NOT be closed.
